Leaders often ask me: “Why aren’t my people growing?”
The answer is simple—because leaders don’t grow themselves, and they don’t grow others. You cannot grow out of a vacuum. Growth happens step by step—learn a little, practice a little, repeat—and when you do it alongside your team, real progress happens.
What I’ve learned through helping others is this: people won’t grow until they decide to. Growth requires change, and it’s not easy, but only you have the power to change yourself and become a better leader.
When you grow yourself and help others grow, something powerful happens—people start growing you too. People always grow better together. As Proverbs 27:17 reminds us: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
I am a lifelong learner, and I know this: the moment you stop learning, you stop growing. And when you stop growing, everyone around you stops growing too. Your team’s growth begins with your leadership.
The good news? You don’t have to stay where you are today. You have the opportunity to grow—and to grow together with your team.
If you’re ready to take that step and build a growth-driven culture, I’d love to help you make it happen. Let’s grow together.
